The Pasture

You Come Too is named after.....    A poem by Robert Frost!!!
I liked it so much, that I named my blog after it...

                                                          The Pasture

I'm going out to clean the pasture spring;
I'll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I shan't be gone long. -- You come too.

I'm going out to fetch the little calf
That's standing by the mother. It's so young,
It totters when she licks it with her tongue.
I shan't be gone long. -- You come too.

My Map Of Fairyland

Here is my map of Fairyland!!!!  In the center there is the main island of Fairyland (Neverland), also attached to it by Goblins Bridge is Wing Island. It looks kind of like a wing.(of a fairy). On the bottom left there is The Land Past Stars, which is were the fairies live. Bottom Right is The Green Isle and on one side there is The Island Of Fairy Tales, and on the other side there is The Garden Of Delight. To the left of Neverland is a little island, it isn't called anything but The Hermit Of The Southern Marsh lives there. Up on the top right corner is Maroon Island with Mermaids Lagoon next to it. No one lives there except animals and mermaids. On the top left corner there is the island of mysterious creatures. (it's not called that though, it doesn't have a name). I am going to Make Many More Maps!!! It is very fun!!

The Jungle

The beautiful garden has now turned into a jungle!!!
When you first come in it is a sight to behold!!!
And all the trees and vines knock our fence archway down.

"The Jungle" as I call it is most jungle-ish here....
The grass, plants, and flowers are much taller than my knees, but I haven't measured it.

Look how tall it is!!! I'm standing! You can't even see the animal bench....

THERE is the animal bench! Well, you can't really see it that well...

Girls In White Dresses

Here I am with my friends and we are "Girls In White Dresses With Blue Satin Sashes" from "The Sound Of Music."  (I'm on the right.) It is the Nativity Of The Blessed Virgin Mary so we thought it would be good to wear blue and white.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

                                   When the dog bites
                                       When the bee stings
                                    When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

The Garden

The flowers on our trees outside. Very Pretty. But when the petals begin to fall, the whole garden is pink with them. Now there is only leaves on our trees, and soon there will be nothing. Not as pretty with the ugly buildings in the back, but from the garden it looks really pretty.

Our little animal bench. The giraffe, monkey, lion, zebra, and elephant. The nicest place to draw, read, or just sit and look around. There is a archway over this seat, flowers wrap around it during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn.

Here is the lovely little basket hanging on the archway. I love pretty pictures of things I see in the garden, and this is very pretty you must admit. It looks like a birds nest.
Beautiful flowers with leaves in the background.
I sometimes name our flowers in the garden like Anne Shirley. This one is nameless though. I can't bare picking these flowers, they are such a pretty color and so delicate.
Carrots we pulled from our carrot patch. they were extra good ones too. Very delicious! And they taste so much better than store bought ones. Remember "Carrots, Carrots!" in Anne of Green Gables.

The Making Of "Little Friends"

I just sewed my "Little Friends". Very easy to make and they only take a few days....
I entered the in the Long Island Fair a week ago. Names are very hard sometimes and I'm taking my time to get the best name for them. I put them on a washcloth my mom knit for me. Isn't it beautiful?
If you know the Moomin books, then you will know Little My, well, I was thinking of making a Little My like the bear and bunny.
As you can see the bear has a orange and yellow bow and the bunny has a purple and pink flower.
